A Family of Cookie Lovers
Looking for relief from the big Apple and maybe some help babysitting (he has three sisters in Vermont), Paul Seyler and his family moved to the little town of North Ferrisburgh from New York City in 2007. After many years in the high-end restaurant business (Per Se, Le Cirque, Union Square, Postrio) Paul was ready for a new adventure. Vermont Cookie Love was born out of a commitment to local ingredients and clean fresh food….and a love of cookies! Quickly attracting loyal customers and rave reviews, Vermont Cookie Love provides rich, all natural cookies and frozen cookie dough to retail, wholesale, and internet customers.
As of 2015 Paul’s sisters Martha and Annie both work with him at the business. His daughter Matilda (8 years old) is looking forward to her first “real job” in the bakery. Son Cal (11 years old) still wants Dad to open a cheeseburger stand.
It Began with Great Cookies
Vermont Cookie Love started selling cookies and frozen cookie dough at the Shelburne Farmer's Market in June 2007. By the end of that year, their cookie dough was being sold in 23 stores! In November of 2010 they launched Love Triangles™, their line of ready-to-bake frozen scones and a variety of Gift Boxes. As of September 2014 Cookie Love® products can be found in approximately 60 stores in five states, and are baked in many cafes and university dining halls. Since September 2011 Vermont Cookie Love has been the cookie vendor in the Vermont House at the Big E in West Springfield, Massachusetts.

Since early 2009, Vermont Cookie Love’s home base has been “The Love Shack”, a cute little shop and production facility in North Ferrsiburgh, VT. The Love Shack expanded a few years ago by adding an ice cream window and quickly turned into a hopping summer hangout.
Vermont Cookie Love serves award-winning “creemees” (soft serve ice cream, in local parlance) sourced from a local dairy. The combination of local ice cream with homemade toppings and sauces creates an ice cream experience like no other. Come visit!

Vermont Cookie Love strives to make the smallest environmental footprint possible. We use many locally sourced, non-GMO and organic ingredients. Online gift packaging is 95% compostable, and the bowls, spoons, cups and napkins used at The Love Shack are %100 compostable. Enjoy!
