Open Position - Restaurant Manager
Now hiring a restaurant manager to join our amazing team in North Ferrisburgh! This is a fast paced and customer-focused store. Previous food service experience is required. Daily operations include opening and closing, overseeing and managing staff & food production, and running the customer loyalty program. You will work alongside staff to ensure product quality, sizing and appearance. Must be able to work quickly and efficiently, be extremely reliable, understand the importance of customer service, and work well in a mature and collaborative environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage and work alongside staff to operate the busy summer ice cream window.
Understand and uphold a very high level of customer service.
Use the Square register system and its customer loyalty program.
Download orders and work alongside staff to bake and ship cookie gift boxes.
Keep chalkboards and signage up-to-date, assist with photos for FB and Instagram.
Requirements:
3 years professional restaurant experience
Ability to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
Ability to train and manage younger workers while working with them
Strong problem-solving skills and a positive mature attitude
Comfortable on your feet and able to lift the occasional 40 lbs
Eager to learn all aspects of Square register system.
Competent with computers, MSWord preferred.
Love of cookies and artisan food a plus!
Hours & Salary: Seasonal/Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour + tips (an extra $3-$10 / hour)
This is a seasonal position but performance may result in year round position. Must have weekend and evening availability.
COVID-19 considerations:
We are only doing take-out food at the window, we do not offer indoor dining/seating. All customers who come to order or pick up food are required to wear a mask. Our interaction with the public is socially distanced and we have sanitization procedures in place. We take cleanliness and sanitation very seriously (even before covid!). You will be required to wear a mask for the entire duration of your shift and must follow guidelines for sanitizing, glove use and cleanliness.
